Danielle McKown, LPC, MA, NCC
Danielle is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). She has completed her Master’s degree in Counseling and certificate in Violence Loss and Trauma (VoLT).
Danielle is experienced in working with adults with a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma. She also has a special interest in working with veterans, first-responders, and those who are postpartum or living with a chronic illness. Danielle utilizes an eclectic approach of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), informed Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy, Acceptance-Commitment Therapy, and other strengths-based approaches. Danielle works with clients to increase the mind-body connection to increase self-awareness and promote healing. Her goal is to create a space of trust and acceptance to foster growth and healing
